Romantic Road

Germany’s most popular holiday route

A triad of nature, culture and hospitality is the hallmark of the Romantic Road.

It is the best-known and most popular German holiday route and runs from the River Main to the Alps. The name Romantic Road expresses what many guests from Germany and abroad feel at the sight of medieval towns or the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein: fascination and a sense of being transported back to bygone times. From Würzburg to Füssen, the Romantic Road opens up to travellers the richness of Western history, art and culture. On the way from north to south the landscape changes: river valleys, fertile farmland, forests, meadows and finally the mountains.

Along its 420 kilometres lie such gems as the Würzburg Residence, Dinkelsbühl, Augsburg, the Wieskirche and many more sights.

Our offer is designed as a two-day tour.

On request we will gladly reserve a hotel for you.
