Salzburg and Hellbrunn Palace

Mozart and Baroque: a grand production

Mozart’s birthplace is a world city in miniature. The silhouette of fortress, cathedral and church towers of this enchanting Baroque city on the northern edge of the Alps is unmistakable. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is enchantingly beautiful.

In Salzburg’s old town one sight follows the next: the Residenz, the Glockenspiel (carillon), the cathedral, the Franciscan Church, Mozartplatz, the Pferdeschwemme (horse pond), the Hofstallgasse, Hohensalzburg Fortress or St. Peter’s Abbey.

Numerous palaces in the city and its surroundings invite visitors, e.g. Mirabell Palace or Hellbrunn Palace. Add to that famous galleries and museums such as the Museum der Moderne or Mozart’s birthplace and much more. Of course – especially in Austria – the outstanding gastronomy is not neglected.
