Lantenhammer, a distillery that produces the finest spirits every day with passion and great creativity. Far beyond the “Weißwurst equator”, the distillery is known to connoisseurs.

In Hausham, near Lake Schliersee at the foot of the Bavarian Alps, the distillery was built with state-of-the-art distillation equipment and a large visitor centre including a shop. Here you can learn a great deal about the most modern distillery in Europe and of course taste and buy the delicious products.

Guided tours can of course also be booked in advance.

Lantenhammer also runs Slyrs, another distillery on Lake Schliersee.

For years it has been producing a rarity: Bavarian whisky.

The distillery regularly receives international awards for its spirits.

The distillery invites visitors to explore on their own every day. Information is provided by self-explanatory display boards including a film documentary.

Of course the excellent products can be tasted and purchased. From Tuesday to Sunday, personal guided tours with a guide can also be booked in advance. At the Slyrs Caffè & Lunchery right next to the whisky distillery you can have breakfast, enjoy small dishes or have coffee and cake.

To round off this indulgent day there is dinner at the Lieberhof with a magnificent view over Lake Tegernsee.

This restaurant offers down-to-earth Bavarian cuisine and excellent beers from the Herzogliches Brauhaus Tegernsee. In earlier times the Lieberhof was a monastery farm whose history dates back about 1,000 years.
