Transfer to St. Moritz

The glamorous resort in the Swiss Alps

St. Moritz offers first-class sporting events all year round: from the summer Concours Hippique St. Moritz and the St. Moritz World Cup on Snow to the St. Moritz City Race in the middle of town. Everything is on offer.

At an altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level, a high plateau stretches out, dotted with numerous lakes. On both sides of the valley mighty Alpine peaks such as Corvatsch and Piz Nair rise up, while the ice-covered summits of the Engadine (Piz Bernina, 4,068 m) tower over it all.

St. Moritz has four ski areas – Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz – plus five further small ski areas. In total there are 350 kilometres of top-quality prepared slopes, 3 snow parks, over 220 kilometres of varied cross-country trails, toboggan runs, 150 kilometres of winter hiking trails and 57 mountain lift installations. From the village, cable cars lead directly into the Corviglia ski area. Numerous slopes wind their way through the snowy landscape.

In summer, a full 400 kilometres of routes for mountain bikers stretch between Lake Silvaplana and Lake St. Moritz. Hikers experience superlative summit adventures on 580 kilometres of marked trails. A ride on the modern mountain railways helps with the ascent of the 3,000-metre peaks Piz Nair and Diavolezza.
